I am on a very long term assignment in Italy and moved a BUNCH of stuff (40' shipping container+) over here. The only things that won't work on 50 Hz are synchronous motors-like in old non-battery electric clocks and my old AR TT. All of the electronics stuff works fine as do my shop tools. Even brought my old 19" TV for watching some of my VHS and SuperBeta tapes (NTSC)--no problems.I even brought a 10 HP 60 Hz (roughly) generator over in case the 50 Hz was a problem-haven't started it in 5+ years.
