......should have limited my comment to cork and other materials with similar 'soft' properties. I have had no good experiences using cork with cdp's or otherwise for audio isolation. I know many have had good luck with air, sand, rubber, etc. but these have seemed to suck the life out of my system compared to a dense isolator; for example brass cones. Just my experience.
