I'm considering an Isolation transformer for my system. My CDP says its has a .5A draw, my Integrated amp says 4a (50w RMS). I'm getting a DAC (VDA1 with VAC1) as well, but don't know what the draw is on that, my guess is somewhere near or less than the CDP.
How much VA is necessary so there isn't any current limiting by the transformer?
Am I thinking about this incorrectly?
