Question for capacitor experts

Here's a question.

I'm loading an 8-channel mixing board with Muse caps (about 2/3 done and the old caps that were removed just about fill a tuna can). There are a few positions where the original value was 1uf or 2.2uf, and I just threw in 4.7uf for everything at that value or smaller.
But I'm thinking. If the problem (or one of the problems) of electrolytic capacitors is the imperfection of the dilectric...suppose that the Dilectric Unpleasant Halation of a 1.0uf standard capacitor is 10 DUH Units. Suppose a Muse capacitor is four times better. Then if you replace a standard capacitor with a Muse capacitor four times as large you've accomplished nothing, right? There is four times as much foil, four times as much dilectric, and four times as many DUH units.
Does anyone have experience relative to this idea?
Thanks

Hilary
