Dick,
its is repairable. Normally only the power transistors are blown. But to be sure check the drivers also.
Desolder all power en driver transistors and measure them, replace those who are defective with the same type and when starting up use a lightbulb 60 Watts, inline with the powerlines to prevent a too high current in case of a fault.
If you have the types/numbers of transistor, go to www.onsemi.com and look for replacements. Sometimes you can get free samples. If you do that order twice the amount of transistors you need, so you can match them.Good luck
