The rollerballs allow movement front/back & side/side - ie, horizontal, but no up & down (vertical). Even though they move upwards ever so slighly as they roll in the cups, it is not really a vertical isolation like the air cell/bladders.I'm not really sure how to classify the Ceraballs, since they are pretty constrained horizontally by the design, yet the ceramic balls sure don't give much in the vertical - so..............?????
