new,
Irrelevent. This assumes all old timer that posts always have air-tight opinions and credibility. Sadly, from reading, I see that isn't true in the least. Long-term has no guaruntee of quality.unregistered,
Does registering give some form of credibility? Or is this similar to why you folks don't like to do A/B/X -DBT? It's like you need a peek behind the curtain at the component or the facts are invalid? All those who have registered have never lied, been abusive, offered a wrong opinion or other malfeasance? If I posted "credentials" like an EE with a postgraduate degree in acoustics, and a $100,000 main system does that make my opinion more valid than someone that has no such background, or is it just another opinion? Maybe you prefer I indicate some connection to the hi-fi industry, so my thinly disguised opinions (favoring my product) can be reguarded as fact. This is all a big fallacy.defensive and abusive
Oh? more so than 75% of the threads I read here? Not likely. I see all out flames here. I am defensive of a sub that works great. A counter opinion was offered by others, I say they have some problem with setup, or upstream. it would take me 2 minutes to find posts by registered users that are far more ascerbic than this. Denizens are ever-so-sensitive when they are countered on a topic. You guys have inspired me that this is the worst place to bother posting. It was a big mistake for me to think there was intelligent life here. But again, I see no point to your post as you have done nothing here except act as pburkes post police.
Additionally, I have been inspired by the insipid denizens here to buy a second 15" Dayton Titanic MKIII. My order has gone out. I have decided to use my time to listen to my system from now on. Again, this place was a BIIIIG mistake.
See you in the funny papers.
