Tweakers' Asylum Tweaks for systems, rooms and Do It Yourself (DIY) help. FAQ. |

I've got tube dampeners around all my tubes to kill microphonics, but there's still the problem of noticable vibrations from the transformers that eventually eminate through the rest of the amp chassis. Any ideas how to rid myself of these vibrations? I'm thinking that all my efforts to quell microphonics is a futile attempt if the tranformer vibrations aren't tamed. (feel free to let me know if my thinking is flawed)
