The speaker sensitivity of 86DB doesn't necessarily mean that the tweeter is rated at 86DB

It may be and even probably is, but not necessarily.

You have the insertion loss of the crossover, slopes, and other variables that are probably coming into play that will affect the match as much or more than sensitivity. For instance, the natural roll-off of the tweeter has to be combined with the slope of the crossover to get the actual slope.

You might want to see if B&W has any in England. Probably not, but they are required by law to stock parts far longer than in the US. Worth an e-mail anyhow - you never know.

Madisound may have a cross-reference replacement for it - they seem to have a number of them for various drivers - another long shot but still worth a try.

Failing that, haunt e-bay for another pair for parts. Buy the speakers and have them toss the cabinets and ship the drivers.

Trying to match tweeters off the shelf, you very well could go thru several other tweeters, 8 or ten crossover tweak attemps and still not be anywhere close.

Finding a correct replacement via some method is very likely the only feasible solution.
