I hope you won't take my comments as combative because that's really not my intent. I think we can all agree that what matters most is learning which types of traps absorb the most, and to the lowest frequency.

You implied in an earlier message that you measured your tube traps in a lab, and I'd be very interested in seeing those results. If you got specs, let's see 'em! I'm willing to be proven wrong. Really. My interest is exactly the same as everyone else's here. For comparison, I have data on wood panel traps and plain rigid fiberglass, and I'm glad to share that.

I hate to see misinformation too, which is why I spend so much of my time giving people free advice to build traps they could have bought from me. Think about that. I feel so strongly about the importance of acoustic treatment, especially at low frequencies, that I'd rather see people build their own or buy from someone else than do without.

But the reason my company doesn't sell tube traps is not because I can't legally do that. Rather, the traps we sell work much better than even the largest 20-inch commercial traps from ASC. (Though there's more to MiniTraps than just a slab of rigid fiberglass.)
