Old Bias tweak.Should I go back to 45mA

I all,I did the TNT Put a Tiger in your amp tweak nearly 2 yrs ago,and today on this asylum I've read that its not good to raise the bias.I increased from 45mA right up to 270mA.I added extra heatsinking as well.This followed an upgrade of Power Supply,bigger transformer,rectifiers caps and bypasses for them.I even changed the dual Emitter resistors for 2 Mox10 resistors from audiocom.I assumed this sounded better than before.My amp is rather old (JVC AX-2)stripped off all the nasties ie graphic equaliser VU leds headphone socket balance pot speaker switching etc
Who would agree that I should drop the Bias back to its original value?
