Don't know if you're talking about "footers" as well, but if you are, the Grand Prix Audio Apex are stunning. Incredible clarity plus natural timbre. Truly remarkable. If they're in your budget at all, they are worth an audition. For an added extra, try combining them with SoundAnchor ConeCoasters. Put the ConeCoaster on top of the Apex with the felt side on the component. The ConeCoaster (designed to be used under speaker stands) has a cone indent for a speaker spike that the ball of the Apex seats itself in beautifully. The combination provides for even better sound - great air and soundstage dimensionality! I've got this combo under my amp only, and just the Apex under everything else. Cheers!
