Hi bobewire, I think what really made the difference in that 535 you did was the adding of a second power supply and separate power supply lines to the output devices and driver PCB's. Its kind of like what is mentioned in the super regulator article about having a pair of super regulators for each stage (better sound). I never thought of applying that to a power amp, matching the caps and resistors also help too. I would love hear that amp, I will keep this in mind when I build my monobloc power amps (4) in the near future I'm still building the super regulators and linestages for my preamp also in Dual mono configuration.
