I think they may be on separate phases. My panels has double 20 amp breakers on that side. My first 20 amp circuit is at the top of one breaker, below it is another 20 amp breaker for a separate room. The second 20 amp double breaker has a third room on top and the 20 amp breaker for my second dedicated line at the bottom. One double breaker is directly above the other in my panel. Are the circuits on the double breakers on the same phase? For example are my first dedicated line and the separate room on the same phase because they are on the same double breaker? I noticed during construction that the electrician ran separate ground for the two 20 lines in my listening room. There are two copper rods in the ground about 4 feet apart which ground each line. Well, I have to run everything from one line to eliminate the small hum that I'm getting. Can I eliminate this hum or will I be force to run everything off one line which defeats the purpose of having two?
