hey, i am thinking of trying a few experiments with my computer cdrom burner, (plextor) ive had great results isolating and now wanna play with a power supply, i dont have much knowledge with switchmode gear but i have an old powersupply lying round, a 200watter with a proper on off switch and connectors my question isis it a good idea to hook just a burner up to a powersupply, i mean with out the other computer components load on the ps it wont go boom or fry my drive ?
thanks, keegan
