Yes. Choke DCR is important and should be very low. I am going to assume that the DCR is low (heavy gage wire) because of the high current rating. You will have to cook up the correct value for the choke. Should work very well. Just out of interest what is the physical size and what does it weigh? Best regards Moray James.
