I look forward to reading the article.As I mentioned in a post somewhere just above here I'm currently trying the 6171. Well all I can say is thank you, you were definitely right. I plan to try the 7171 soon.
However, I am a little concerned about the slight noise apparent at high volume settings when no music is playing. Will chokes and better diodes help here? (I assume it's because the 6171's noise rejection isn't as good as some)
