The typical toroidal tfmr. has dual secondaries. You should have a single pair of wires coming off the tfmr. which are the Primary leads. About 180 deg. from them on the same side of the tfmr. there should be another 4 leads, which are the secondaries. Using a Volt Meter set to 200v power (assuming it's a 120v tfmr. primary) up the tfmr. and clip the leads to any 2 of the secondary leads and note the voltage compared to the tfmr.'s rated output voltage i.e. 24v. if lower unclip one voltmeter lead and connect it to another secondary wire until you get the rated voltage of the tfmr.; that is Secondary #1 and the other pair is secondary #2. You can wire the secondaries in series to double the output voltage by following the same proceedure. BE SURE TO POWER DOWN BEFORE CONNECTING SECONDARY WIRES IN SERIES.Happy Listening !
