Tweakers' Asylum Tweaks for systems, rooms and Do It Yourself (DIY) help. FAQ. |
|
I about to build a pair of speakers which need...well they need a x-over. No secret there. I am not inclined in this field nor do I plan to be since my DIY's will most likely be limited to my own smaller projects.I will pay someone a modest fee to build it for me. The x-over will be designed in conjunction with me, and should be very easy. A simple design of 2nd order types I believe with no fancy zobel, compensation, etc, unless these techniques can be employed rather easily and inexpensively.
I do not want to purchase on of the prefabed x-overs because I believe that someone here can build a a better quality one for the same or a little more money. It will be a 3 way design.
No Naysayers please. If you have interest or want to provide help/tech talk please respond. If not please do not post a reply. Thanks to all. You can email me directly at tomkat8514@sbcglobal.net or intelonetwo@yahoo.com or AOL username intelonetwo. Again thanks.
