I already cut the shelves for 4 posts.I got the rod for free, so I figured the more the merrier. The nuts go on OK. I wanted to have all this cadmium plated, but $85.00 was not in the very cheap budget. I'm going to support the bottom shelf, which will be very close to the floor, with some kind of cones. This should take the stress off it. I could also put my now too big sand box under the shelf. This thing would hold a small car. Thanx for the info.
