I plan to connect my newly bought Jensen silver-foil caps to either the line output of my cdp or the headphone output of a discman and blast them continuously for 2 weeks.Now my question is what value of resistor I should use in series with the caps in each case to simulate a real life loading? Is 20K for the cdp output or 100 ohms for the headphone output a reasonable value?
Will the headphone output yield shorter run-in time because of its higher output?
