Waaaaal, there's silver, and then there's SILVER. The purity of the silver has a lot to do with sonics. I suspect that a lot of the bad reports on "Brightness" of silver wire is due to the fact that the "silver" is "coin silver" i.e. it has been alloyed with nickel, which produces hysterisis. Coin silver is very bright and shiny (like chrome plating), while pure silver has a duller sheen to it and cannot be brightly shined. For audio it should be "4-9's" pure, meaning that it is 99.99% pure silver, but it tends to be expensive altho worth it in results. Silver is the BEST electrical conductor there is PERIOD. Super cooled pure silver has absolutely ZERO resistance.Happy Listening !
