I agree; I heard a big difference when switching my Mirage FRX-7's over to bi-wire. For me, the bass was a bit tighter, but I really heard the difference in the high frequency ranges...acoustic guitar strings, fretwork, and cymbals became more clear.
I agree with the previous poster, that it is part of a total system design concept. Whether it is benefecial to you depends on your gear, speakers, the type of crossover in the speakers, and of course your cables. In the end, only a good listen will determine whether they are right for you.
