Think about it - if the fuse holder were to be in poor enough condition, your amp would not work at all. Since electricity is not a binary thing, a fuse holder can directly affect sound quality. While I have not played around with any replacement fuse holders, I do believe they are worthwhile. I think the potential differences a fuse holder could make would be of the same nature, if not the same magnitude, as an AC recepticle change.Some audiophiles who are more brave than me even bypass their amp fuses. There are some obvious safety issues with this, but I've seen several reports of huge sonic gains from doing this.
