Thank you Peter for the detailed reply! I think I am going to be busy again..... I had planned to do a simple power cord soon, but I will add the chassis damping to my list. Incidentally, there was an article in UHF 65 looking at various commercial vibration devices, using the D500 as an evaluation platform. Don't recall the results off the top of my head, but probably you can see at least some of the article on their web site. Thanks again.
