Re: veneer for DIY speakers

I used oak veneer 3/4" mdf for outer panels and 3/4" oak quarter round for all corners. Just cut the panels a little big (1/16" to 1/8") so that it is the quarter round that is brought down to the veneer surface not the other way around. I'll borrow a digital camera and post the finished results. PS I used a piece of solid oak for the base extending 3/4 to 5/8 all the way around. This protects the bottom edge of the veneer and adds stability.
