I have postioned the traps such that the seams (also the mid point of the plastic) are pointed directly into the room corners.I am using the 17 foot long wall for my speakers and firing into the 14 foot width. Other than toying with rotation of the traps, does it make any sense to use one trap in each front corner to the left and right of the speakers, one trap behind each speaker (with the seam pointing out) and removing the traps from the "listening wall" corners?
Jon, or anyone else for that matter, can you give a general comparison of how these traps function with or without the plastic layer?
