Tweakers' Asylum Tweaks for systems, rooms and Do It Yourself (DIY) help. FAQ. |
|
Hey all,My room is 10'x12'x8', with the speakers arranged on the long wall, approx. 3 feet from the side walls and 1 1/2 feet from the back wall, by necessity. I'm getting a pair of Meadowlark Swifts, which are 3 ft high. I'm wondering, first, if bass traps have much effect, or even more effect, in small rooms as compared with larger rooms. Second, with the size of my speakers, would the six foot traps be overkill? Should I stick with four feet? Is there a significant difference in absorption between the two sizes?
Thanks in advance for the advice...
