I gather your headphones needs gain of 0.5 to 2 and the tube amp has 20-30. The result is very much noise and hum and the possibilty to blow the the poor phones. I gather (not really knowing) that a tube amp isn't so sensitive against low load so you need at least at voltage divider at the output. But isn't it more convenient to use a small dedicated headphone amp? Saves energy!
