Hi David,I have no problem with your choice of words for describing what the platforms do. Glad we agree on the sonic effects!
Just to be pathetically petty, on the Symposium website this technology is labeled as 'Constrained Layer Damping'. Perhaps I can get you to agree that these platforms provide isolation via damping? If, after all, vibration enters the platform, but doesn't exit, can you say that damping has not occured?
