Alan Kafton sells the cryoed 5362 for $60. It is a $20 receptacle that he buys, has shipped to him, ships out to cryo, and has shipped back to him. The cryo process that the plugs are subjected to appears to be first rate, and the soak time is extended. Having done a little research on line, there appears to be a real variation in what goes on as "cryo" out thereAll cryo'ing is performed by Cryogenics International here in Scottsdale, Arizona. They have been in business since 1986 and are an OEM vendor & manufacturer of the fully-computerized cryo processors sold to industry. In fact, they have their own patented process. Their link is on my website. I have them perform a *double* process (effectively equating to a 48-hour soak), something I believe no other audio company is doing. In addition, I condition all double-cryo'd Hubbell receptacles on the Cable Cooker for 4 days, to remove most of the break-in ups and downs customers experience with other products. A customer is purchasing *all* of this treatment, not just an off-the-shelf receptacle that has been single-cryo'd. Thanks for allowing the clarification.
