All electrnoic equipment benefits from isolation. Until I heard it for myself, I never would have believed my solid state amp would benefit from isolation, but it does, and not just slightly (my GF isn't an audiophile, but she can easily hear the difference when my amp is isolated from when it's not).-Pete
