Did you try the sorbothane without the granite? I ask this because I achieved similar results with a pair of homebuilt stands under my bedroom speakers by cutting 8, one inch, squares of Dynamat and placing the squares under each corner between the speakers & stands and the stands & floor (hardwood). I'm curious as to how much benefit the granite offers. If you decide to try this please let me know what you discover.
