DIY medical procedure.

While making some RG-6 video cables yesterday evening, I managed to get a small piece of shield wire lodged in my left index finger. Even though a nub of wire was sticking out, I could not grasp the wire with tweezers. Today, the shield sliver was driving me nuts. In desperation, I coated the index finger with contact cement and let it dry thoroughly. When I peeled the cement off, the sliver came out!

Disclaimer: I did this. I am NOT saying YOU should try it. Contact cement is NOT approved by the FDA for medical purposes or for use as a bikini wax.
