Tweakers' Asylum Tweaks for systems, rooms and Do It Yourself (DIY) help. FAQ. |

Hey all,I have a window with metal venetian blinds on it midway between my speakers. This arrangement can't be helped, so my challenge is to try and do something about it.
What I have in mind--and, surprisingly, I have a green light from my girlfriend--is putting some egg carton foam (I have some pretty thick foam) in the window and opening the blinds to make a sort of grill in front of the foam...Would this do *anything*? Sort of a shot in the dark. Would it make any difference if I got softer wooden blinds?
And if this is just hopelessly off course, any suggestions? What can I do? It seems to have a definite effect on the clarity of the central image...Thanks in advance for any tips, suggestions, laughter...
