I can't make anything out of the schematic but if the cap is really 600 uF I think it can be nothing else than a highpass for your speaker (preventing really low frequencies to reach your, probably, relatively small woofer)I would check the figures again if I were you, 82 ohm resistor doesn't make sence to me either
