Strange stuff. Looks like some type of gray cloth/paper material sandwiching a paper like layer of carbon and metal fibers inside. The edges are what looked conductive, the surface may be conductive if some of the metal particles poke through. But I don't think that's much of a possibility. I was careful not to let the edges get to close to any exposed circuitry.I started playing with the ERS a bit last night, laid it on top of my amp, preamp, DVD, and transformers with good results. Then I took the top off of my DVD and placed some on the inside top cover and sides. I then wrapped the transformer, as well as the the Bybee filters on the AC input. That proved to work really nicely. What stood out the most was there was a better decay into black musically.
I have 6 sheets of the stuff left. what should I treat? Here are my choices:
(2) Topaz 5kv transformers wired for balanced power
B&K 5 ch amp
B&K preamp processor
Speaker crossovers
Interconnect cables
