One big slab of absorb panel or split?

My local store can have absorb panels made (the ones they actually use. Pretty nice/professional looking IMO don't know whether it's comparable to the echobuster stuff).
Anyhow since it is custom built I just need to measure things. Should I just go with one big slab of panel or should I get some uniform sizes and space them apart?
