I'm assuming that there are T-nuts or some other type of hardware involved. Any speaker design that has the screws going directly in MDF is pretty poor in my opinion. Even the 'white van' speakers a friend (some friend) gave to me have T-nuts. Your point is well taken though and we all know what happens when you ass-u-me. I should have mentioned that.
