Tweakers' Asylum Tweaks for systems, rooms and Do It Yourself (DIY) help. FAQ. |
|
Just found this site and would like to ask about a set of old Pioneer CS-77 speakers I was given. They are solid, about 25"H, 14.5"W, 12"D with approx 10" woofers, 5"mid and 2"tweeters (guessing real novice here) 8ohms and a dial with "normal, decrease, increase" 50 watts each. The cabinets seem quite solid and I was wondering if they can be redone somehow with a DIY kit to be incorporated into my home theater setup which right now I've started with 2 JBL N-26II which are also in wood cabinets and sound good to me.
Thanks for any insight into those old speakers and help with what can be done with them.
