I am wondering if it is possible to upgrade the ASL Wave 8's with better iron. More specifically, am considering a common Hammond 269AX (125-0-125, 100mA, 6.3V 2A). This seems to be easy. However, I cannot figure out which PP output transformer to use. I was considering the Hammond 125H (8w, 10k ohms prim imp) or the Hammond 125J (8w, 2.5K/4K ohm prim imp).Does anyone know what is best way to go?
Many thanks,
