I agree with much what was sayed below, and like to add the following suggestion:Either try 3 Aurios / Syposium / Darum Roller Bearings under the speakers.
Or try a combo of eg. two Darumas and one wood sphere (decoration), you might try to polish the wood sphere, but even unpolished they balance the sound very nicely.
Or try a combo of *one* spike with eg. Blue Tak pads. You can also use the wood sphere instead of the spike, with very good results .
Either one spike / ball centrally (if the stand has more than a frame below and around the edge the speakers bottom surface) or one spike / ball at the front under the tweeter or mid of the speaker. Use Blue Tak or Felt / wood pads to balance the speaker without forcing the compliant material too strongly. The idea is to create a *resilient* support which balances atop the one point like on a bearing, with a damped very low frequency resonance. All of these methods free up the sound quite unexpectedly, yielding very natural timbres and a coherent quality from the bottom to top. Bass notes eg. are released much quicker, and the highs have more air, like the whole spectrum.
