In addition to what Kursum said, you need to figure out where you want the baffle step compensation of the lower driver to kick in, and that is going to be largely determined by the arrangement and size of your baffle.
The other way to do BSC is to use a shelf filter on everything above the baffle step loss frequency, but this results in overall lowered efficiency (by 2-3 dB)
