Tweakers' Asylum Tweaks for systems, rooms and Do It Yourself (DIY) help. FAQ. |
|
I know this is an age old question but I can't find good guidance from the archives. I'm building a large 48" x 22" rack using 3 double thickness MDF shelves (1.5") and 5/8" rods. What function do the washers provide and are they necessary? The TNT site says they are there to prevent scratching, which is not an issue with MDF.This rack will support some very heavy tube equipment, DIY of course.
TIA,
Jim D.
