Dude, where you gonna buy a new preamp as good as the SA1000 for less than $162? I don't know your personal situation and I mean no disrespect, but $162 sounds like a bargain to me! Not only will you get your pre fixed but it will sound better as a result. Just skip your next 10 CD purchases and pony up the bucks to fix it right.
