I'm working on a project in which the actual circuit board has smaller capacitor parts values than what is drawn on the schematic. Additionally, the parts list differs from both the actual parts and the board parts.I am just wondering if anyone who designs for a living (or anyone else) could clue me as to which values were part of the original designer's intent (e.g. the schematic, the parts list or the actual board parts).
As an example, one board part is a 50v 2200uF cap. I was going to increase this cap to 4700uF (doubling its value). However, the schematic shows a 4700uF cap (which would need a 10,000uF, etc to double).
If you were betting, which one would you lay your money on?
TIA
