May be on the menu if you try a simple Y connector, for without the bandpass signal splitting of an active crossover you may be feeding your tweeters low frequencies that they definetely won't digest well. Look at the Rane site too for more on the biamping subject and descriptions of hardware- and warnings against ever using Y connectors.
