I know I should have backed up every CD but I didn't. Took out a fragile CD from the jewel box carelessly and it broke. There is one cracy from center to edge and the crack cuts cleanly thru the disc. It seems that optically it is absolutely ruines (so is it mechanically).I dare not put it to play as it might damage the read head because it is not exact flat now with sharp edges that might be protruding.
Has anyone dealt with such situations with success? I know I'm hoping against hope but just wanna see if there anything possible.
Many thanks!
