The Tek tutorial is a good one.Once you get a basic idea, though, the best thing to look at is your 'scope. Put that bad boy on the bench with some good-working piece of gear and your generator (got a 'scope, you need a generator), inject some signal, and just start looking at every durn thing. Put in some hours and get familiar with the scales and the triggering and the grounding and such. Everybody wants to look at square waves; you'll be amazed at how hard it is to keep a good square wave in observation/measurement.
Using a 'scope is a little like playing an instrument; art layered on technique. Get out there in the woodshed, my man.
