I have the Sony DVP-NS500V. I'm getting an AC-Hum from the analog audio outputs in this situation: I have a Headphone Amp connected directly from the NS500V analog outputs(this happens with either of the 2 analog outputs). I hear the Hum through my Headphones whether the NS500V is On or Off and regardless of the volume setting on the Headphone Amp. CD's play fine; it's just the that the hum is always there. I've tried different interconnects, but nothing changes. I even tried the hookup away from my TV and still the same thing. It's not the amp, because I have 3 different amps and it happens with all 3. Now; when I hook up my Headphone Amps to my Technics Single-Disc Audio only Player, It's dead quiet.
I know people have been doing Mods to this player, but I'm hoping there may be a simple solution to this AC-Hum problem. Thanks for any advice.
Tom
